BIOGRAPHY: Originally born in Reading, Mark moved to London to pursue his career before fate led him to Glendale in the mid-1990s. A chance encounter with local beauty Jennifer Hawthorne during a night out sparked a life-changing romance, culminating in a marriage at All Saints Church and the birth of their three children. Life seemed perfect for the Sinclair family – until tragedy struck in 2007. Jennifer was killed in a car accident caused by Michael Bancroft, who also lost his life in the crash.

Drowning in grief, Mark threw himself into his career, and though he remained devoted to his children, the trauma of Jennifer’s death left lasting scars on the family.

Fate intervened once more when Mark met Charlotte Harrington-Jones, and the two formed a deep and enduring love. They married in 2023, and Charlotte was eager to start a family, though conception proved difficult. However, unfixable cracks appeared when Mark discovered that Charlotte had been involved with Michael in the years before his death. Feeling betrayed, Mark was unable to forgive Charlotte for keeping the secret. Their marriage collapsed, and during this tumultuous time, Charlotte suffered a miscarriage – something Mark never knew.

Unable to face Charlotte or the villagers of Glendale, Mark spent nearly a year living with his daughter in Southampton, seeking distance and time to heal. Eventually, he and Charlotte divorced. Now, Mark has returned to Glendale, determined to pick up the pieces of his shattered life.
