BIOGRAPHY: As the youngest child of Vincent and Hazel Harrington-Jones, Charlotte has always been the quiet achiever of the family, often overshadowed by the ambitions of her older siblings, James and Victoria. Free from the pressures that shaped their paths, she carved out her own independent life, nurturing a lifelong love of animals into a successful career as a veterinarian. In 2018, she returned to Glendale after years in London to purchase and manage the Glendale Veterinary Practice.
It was upon her return that Charlotte’s life took an unexpected turn toward love. She found herself drawn to Mark Sinclair, a local widower with whom she shared a deep and immediate connection, despite their sixteen-year age gap. Their relationship faced obstacles, particularly from Mark’s daughter, Natalie, and Charlotte’s mother, who initially opposed the union. Yet love prevailed, and in 2023 the couple married in a ceremony at Ashbourne House.
In 2024, Charlotte’s world was thrown into turmoil when she discovered that her nephew, Nick, was not the biological son of James and his wife, Julia. A brief – and mistaken – belief that Nick was the child of her long-dead, secret boyfriend Michael Bancroft stirred old memories, and complications deepened when Mark learnt of Charlotte’s past with Michael, compounded by the misconception that Michael’s reckless driving had contributed to the death of Mark’s first wife, Jennifer.
Amidst the chaos, Charlotte discovered she was pregnant after nearly a year of trying. Tragically, the pregnancy ended in miscarriage, coinciding with the collapse of her marriage to Mark. Following a swift divorce, Charlotte now finds herself back at her family home, striving to rebuild her life and rediscover a sense of stability after years of upheaval.
