BIOGRAPHY: Originally from Luton, Marion has become woven into the very fabric of Glendale since moving to the village more than three decades ago to take up the role of local GP.

She has been married to Ed for over thirty-five years, their story beginning during their university days when she quite literally bumped into him on the way to a lecture. After graduating, they settled in Glendale for work and eventually welcomed two children: their son, Lee, now based in Manchester, and their daughter, Jasmine.

But in 2024, the stability of their long-standing marriage began to falter. Marion, increasingly uneasy, started to doubt Ed’s faithfulness. Her suspicions took a dramatic turn when Samantha Carter appeared on their doorstep, claiming to be Ed’s daughter from a high-school relationship. Though the revelation was deeply painful, Marion found some solace when she learnt that Samantha had been born two years before she and Ed ever became a couple.

Even so, the damage was done. The small fractures in their marriage widened when Marion discovered Ed had secretly launched a new business and had been visiting Samantha for months without telling her. Unable to look past the accumulating lies, Marion now finds herself fighting to salvage a relationship that is hanging by a thread, struggling to rebuild the trust Ed has shattered.
