BIOGRAPHY: The only son of Tony and Diane Kennedy, Luke was born into a loving home where his parents showered him with love, affection and support. Yet beneath his charming exterior, there was darkness, and as a teenager, he fell in with the wrong crowd, spiralling into drug addiction and eventually becoming entangled in the criminal underworld.

At first, his misdeeds were minor – petty thefts, small cons, and fleeting brushes with the law. But Luke’s narcissistic tendencies and magnetic charm allowed him to manipulate those around him and exploit their weaknesses for personal gain. Gradually, his crimes escalated, and he transformed into a calculating, ruthless man capable of cruelty without remorse.

Luke began dealing to Michael Bancroft, where he met Emma Blake (then known as Emily Barlow). Drawn to her, Luke coerced her into sex in return for drugs, which ultimately led to Emma becoming pregnant and giving birth to Nick – a fact Luke remained oblivious to for years.

In 2008, Luke’s life took a darker turn when he was convicted of a horrific manslaughter – an event so horrible that the villagers of Glendale still avoid discussing it to this day. He was sentenced to sixteen years in prison, and behind bars, Luke’s anger festered, twisting him further into a man you would simply describe with one word – evil.

In 2024, as part of a prison scheme, Luke discovered through a DNA test that he was Nick’s biological father. Upon his release, he returned to Glendale with a mission – to reclaim his son and exact revenge on those he felt had wronged him. Luke’s manipulations became increasingly audacious – he tried to deceive Nick, attempted to steal Audrey Granger’s life savings, and sought to destabilise his stepmother, Carol, preying on her fragile mental state. As the police closed in, Luke vanished, leaving Glendale in fear and remaining to this day a dangerous man on the run.
