BIOGRAPHY: Born and bred in the village, Brian carries Glendale’s history in his veins. Known for his gruff demeanour, fiery temper, and uncompromising attitude, he is a man whose staunchly right-wing – and often deeply offensive – opinions frequently spark tension among the locals.

In the mid-1980s, Brian inherited Glenbrook Farm from his great-uncle, Patrick Granger. But unlike the generations before him, he lacked the passion for farming that the role demanded. In 2012, he relinquished day-to-day control to his eldest son, Ben, allowing the next generation to take the reins.

Brian has been married to Pamela for more than forty years, and throughout their life together, he has been physically, emotionally, and psychologically abusive – behaviour that has deeply scarred both Pamela and their three children. For decades, he concealed the worst of his violence behind closed doors, targeting areas unlikely to attract suspicion. Recently, however, his anger and behaviour have escalated to the point where he no longer takes care to hide it, leaving Pamela increasingly brutalised and the community more aware than ever of the danger she faces.
