BIOGRAPHY: Handsome, charismatic, and the youngest of the three Spencer children, Dan has always been the dependable one – the rock the family could rely on. Raised at Greystone Downs, he initially dreamed of following in the footsteps of the family business and becoming a farmer. But as he grew older, another path beckoned, and straight out of school, he joined the Royal Navy, leaving behind the Kentish village he had called home his whole life.

In 2024, the sudden death of his brother, Tom, brought Dan back to Glendale. He left his role as a Royal Marines officer to support his widowed sister-in-law, Kate, run the family farm, and care for his mother, Carol, who was struggling under the weight of grief. Following a brief romance with Tilly Wainwright that ended in heartbreak, Dan made the shock decision to turn his back on the family farm and go travelling around the world, leaving Kate unsupported and unsure of what the future held.
